The L.A.U.G.H. App utilizes an evidence-based multi-sensory method aimed at enhancing focus, fostering creativity, and bolstering self-esteem. L.A.U.G.H. acronym translates to Let Art Unleash Great Happiness, emphasizing creative expression, focus, mindfulness, and engagement.

• Research

The effectiveness of The L.A.U.G.H. App was demonstrated through a two-year pilot program conducted in collaboration with the University of Washington College of Education and Madrona Elementary School in Seattle. Results highlighted a notable 18.7% enhancement in the "joy of learning" and a 19.2% boost in "school connectedness" associated with a post-app use positive mood. Furthermore, a 56% increase in "joy of learning" was observed with higher levels of school belonging.

Seattle Children’s Research Institute has also played a pivotal role in the app's development, engaging in evidence-based formative research, exploring various approaches, and assessing their impact on physiological relaxation and concentration markers.

Dr. Dimitri A. Christakis MD MPH, Director of the Center for Child Health, Behavior & Development, remarked on the distinctive nature of The L.A.U.G.H. App compared to other health applications. Preliminary findings indicated that children using The L.A.U.G.H. App exhibited significantly improved concentration levels in comparison to similar entertainment apps.
